After the video went viral, netizens reacted and condemned the high-handed behavior of the woman.

A user named Rupesh Ranjana shared the video on X and rued at the sheer audacity of the woman to use such abusive language against the state police. The user also tagged the Bangalore Police and Bangalore Traffic Police handles, asking for strict action to be taken against the woman.

Another X handle named Karnataka Update wrote, criticizing the woman, and said,

“Shameless display of arrogance—woman hurls abuses at Bangalore Police in Hindi, forgetting respect for law and those who enforce it. They are not even giving respect to police units; what about common people?”

After the video became viral, the police also swung into action and detained the abusive woman. The police stated that a case has been registered at the Yelahanka Suburb Police Station and the accused is now in custody.

An investigation has been launched against the accused under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Samhita.
